- This method requires Bootloader to be unlocked.
- Please Backup your all data before you proceed further.
- Battery must above 50% Charged.
Guide to Install MIUI Rom using MiFlash Tool (Fastboot method)
- Download the latest version of Rom/Firmware From here - Download
- Look for the 'Redmi Note 4X Latest Global Stable Version Fastboot File Download' and download it or you can change according to your device.
- The file will be in .tgz format.
- Extract the .tgz file and you will get a .tar file. Extract it again, you will get a folder.
- Now Copy the folder to C Drive.
- Since, it's a fastboot method you need to boot your phone into fastboot mode. To do so, turn off your device -> Press and Hold Volume down and Power Button simultaneously -> Fastboot logo should appear.
- Connect your device to PC using USB cable.
- Next, Download the Mi Flash tool from here - Download
- Install MiFlash tool on your PC and complete the installation process.
- Open Mi Flash Tool from Desktop.
- Click on refresh button and your device should appear here.
- Now click select button and select the folder which we have extracted in our C drive.
- At the bottom of Mi Flash tool you will see 3 options, select Clean all. You can also select 2 other options depending upon your requirement.
- Once all done, Click on Flash button to start the process.
- The Process will take around 5 minutes to complete. You will get a Success massage in result column.
- Now you can remove your device and will boot automatically.
